Scopus has accepted another PsychOpen journal for inclusion

Scopus, a leading, international abstract and citation database, has accepted the Journal of Social and Political Psychology (JSPP) for inclusion. The title is a PsychOpen journal published since 2013.

Authors, who publish in the JSPP, will get more attention for their research in the scientific community due to the inclusion into Scopus.

The Scopus Title Evaluation team emphasizes that the Journal of Social and Political Psychology contains "quality articles" and is "extremely well cited in the literature". The reviewers also point out that "authors are from around the world".

The journal features articles at the intersection of social and political psychology that substantially advance the understanding of social problems, their reduction, and the promotion of social justice. It is a peer-reviewed, semiannual and open access journal. The two JSPP editors are affiliated with universities in Germany and the United States. Associate editors are from numerous countries around the world.

JSPP is the second PsychOpen journal accepted by Scopus this year. The first one was Interpersona – An International Journal on Personal Relationships. As Scopus accepts only quality content these inclusions provide an independent confirmation of the quality and high publishing standards accomplished by the Open-Access Publishing Platform.

PsychOpen, The European Open-Access Publishing Platform for Psychology, is a project by the Leibniz Institute for Psychology Information (ZPID), Trier, Germany.

The Journal of Social and Political Psychology is available at its website jspp.psychopen.eu.
