Psychology, Community & Health (PCH) is a peer-reviewed journal with an international editorial board, specialized in the field of psychology and published three times a year by the open-access publisher PsychOpen. PCH is focusing on research developed in community- and health-related contexts. It publishes methodological and empirical articles as well as literature and book reviews in Portuguese and English.

Authors publishing in Psychology, Community & Health keep full copyright of their work and are not charged any fees.

Contributions are welcome in the following areas:

  • psychosocial aspects of illness, treatment processes, recovery and prevention
  • interfaces among biological, psychological, behavioral and social factors in health and illness
  • quality of life and well-being in people with chronic diseases and in the community context
