Praise for Europe's Journal of Psychology

Europe's Journal of Psychology (EJOP), published at PsychOpen, is one of the June winners of ScienceOpen's monthly free indexing competition.

ScienceOpen, a freely accessible search and discovery platform, aims to open up information for the scholarly community by putting research in context. With their monthly competition they honor high-quality Open Access journals and recognize the great efforts behind those journals with no article processing charges. The competition is a joined initiative by ScienceOpen and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).

The ScienceOpen editors appreciate that there is a growing number of small-scale open-access journals such as EJOP, run largely by research communities, who managed to reach out "from their local contexts to the global landscape of scholarly communication and became established international forums. At ScienceOpen, these are what we call true Open Access success stories!"

EJOP is a quarterly electronic publication of scientific psychology featuring original studies, critical contributions, interviews and book reviews written by and intended for psychologists worldwide. It is published by PsychOpen, the European Open-Access Publishing Platform for Psychology operated by the Leibniz Institute for Psychology Information (ZPID).
